Shogatsu (Japanese New Year Celebration 2020)

We spoke about The Japanese New Year celebration which is called shogatsu.

In Japan, the New Year isn’t just another holiday, it is widely considered the most important holiday. We learned how to celebrate it through the photos. We read a story about an elephant boy named “Gurunpa.” He was a lonely stinky elephant with no friends. But he eventually finds the place he belongs to. Then, we sang and danced with new song “Yuki ya kon kon” which is a snow winter song very famous in Japan.

In the end, we continued to learn the words “long and short” in Japanese.
