Ms. Krishna is a respected educator with over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. In her years of teaching experience, she strongly believes that being an early childhood educator is more than just a career, it is a life long journey of seeing the world from the lens of a child. Every child is unique and every child holds a dream. With little steps in their giant world, with patience and a growing passion she continued to develop her understanding of best teaching practices as she pursued a Certificate in Preschool Teachers Training offered by Seeds Institute from Wheelock College in Boston. During her time as an educator, she explored various theories of child development and it became a stepping stone for when she attained her International Diploma in Montessori offered by Middlesex University with highly commendable grades in all the Montessori areas. She was awarded the Best teacher accredition by the Montessori Academy for her mentorship programme. Her strong believe in “Teaching is Learning twice” was a positive factor towards her Diploma in Preschool Teaching with Ngee Ann Polytechnic that enhanced her knowledge with best of the both worlds.
Ms. Krishna’s bubbly self and positive smile are the contribution factor for her forte in people’s skills and process management. She supports these skills with strong analytical understanding and good communications when dealing with people at all levels. Equipped with a Certification of educational studies in Public Speaking she is also an active Preschool teacher’s network volunteer, and participated in various events that has contributed to her knowledge as an early childhood educator.
Ms. Krishna will be supporting Pegasus International Preschool as our Head of Operations, her role is to manage operational aspects of the business objectives, manage the school’s operation incorporating process compliance, quality improvements, planning and executing of school events, site audits and oversee both the local and international operations. Apart from conducting positive professional development trainings with our educators, she has an excellent understanding of the various primary curriculum as well the needs of a diverse expat community in Singapore.
