Pegasus International Preschool is looking for a passionate Preschool English Speaking Teacher to join our closely knit team. We are a boutique international preschool in Singapore welcoming families from different nationalities and cultures.

Our inquiry-based curriculum uses hands-on projects, play explorations and meaningful classroom experiences to support children’s learning, confidence and development.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, wellbeing and hygiene of children under your care.
• Build trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Plan and facilitate experiential, hands-on and inquiry-based learning activities.
• Observe and monitor children’s learning progress and development.
• Prepare teaching materials and create a stimulating classroom environment.
• Support classroom routines and carry out routine care duties.
• Work closely with the team to support curriculum planning and classroom management.
• Communicate with parents and maintain a close family-school partnership.
• See yourself as a lifelong learner and researcher alongside children.

Requirements

• Experience working with young children aged 17 months to 6 years old.
• At least two years of experience working with children under seven is preferred.
• L2 Teacher Certification from ECDA Singapore or an equivalent qualification from an English-speaking country is preferred.
• Early childhood qualification — diploma, degree or relevant certification.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Good classroom management skills.
• Inquiry-based teaching experience is preferred.
• First Aid certification, or a willingness to obtain it.
• Caring, resilient, team-oriented and passionate about early childhood education.
