World Health Day
World Health Day is celebrated on April 7th to celebrate the well-being of humans and promote healthy living – encouraging people to adopt healthier lifestyles, focusing on nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being.
It is also a day to honor our healthcare heroes – doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers who play a vital role in keeping communities healthy.
The children role-played as nurses, doctors, and healthcare workers. Through this activity, they learned the importance of health and the healthcare profession. They pledged to stay healthy by eating and drinking well, sleeping on time, and exercising regularly.
Easter Day Celebration
Our little bunnies had an egg-citing time celebrating Easter with fun-filled activities!
- Egg decorating: Using paints, rolling stamps, glitter, and stickers
- Easter-themed games: Bunny hopscotch and “pass the egg” relay race
- Spring crafts: Bunny self-portraits, suncatchers, and Easter egg garlands
We love celebrating special moments that bring joy, creativity, and learning together!
World Book Day
World Book Day is celebrated to promote the joy of reading, storytelling, and literacy worldwide. It encourages children and adults alike to discover books, develop a love for reading, and appreciate authors and illustrators. It’s a day to celebrate stories, characters, and the magic of books that bring knowledge and joy to people of all ages!
What a joyful day we had as the children came together to celebrate their love of books! They had an absolute blast sharing about their favourite stories and proudly showing off their creative costumes. From classic characters to modern favourites, the excitement was truly contagious! We started the day with an energising icebreaker game of Simon Says, followed by a mass workout titled “Let’s Go on a Bear Hunt.” The laughter, movement, and joy made for a perfect start to a day full of imagination and wonder. To add to the magic, our talented teachers captivated the children with storytelling sessions in three different languages — English, Mandarin, and Japanese. The room was filled with wide eyes and eager ears as each story unfolded. Happy World Book Day!
Marvellous Trees Talk Session
Our K1 and K2 children had a special treat this week with a visit from a guest speaker from NParks! Through an engaging and interactive talk, the children explored the characteristics of trees, discovered the different types of produce and learned about their origins and importance in nature.
The session also introduced the children to the various homes that trees provide for different species, helping them understand the role of trees in supporting biodiversity. It was a meaningful and hands-on experience that sparked curiosity and deepened their appreciation for the natural world around them!
